Plans and billing
One subscription for the whole group, counted by synced variants, and nothing stops quietly when you go over the limit.
How the plans differ
Every feature is included in every plan, including the free one: variant matching by SKU, real-time sync, multiple locations per store, manual and scheduled syncs, and the activity log. Plans differ in how many variants are synced. Pro has no limit and includes priority support.
On the Overview page, "Features" shows what your plan includes. Anything that comes with a higher plan stays visible there and is labeled as such.
What counts as a variant
Each matched SKU in your group counts, and it counts once, no matter how many stores it appears in.
- A T-shirt in size M with the same SKU in two stores is one variant.
- Variants that aren't matched don't count.
- The current number is shown on the Overview page under "Status" next to your limit, in the form "… of … variants".
One subscription for the whole group
You don't need a subscription for every store. A subscription in one store of the group covers all the others. If more than one store has a subscription, the highest plan applies.
If you open the Plan page in a store other than the one holding the subscription, it says "The subscription runs through …". You can only change it from the store named there.
Choose or change a plan
- Open "Plan", or click "Choose a plan" or "Change plan" at the top of the Overview page.
- At the top you see how many variants your group syncs. The smallest plan that covers them is marked "Fits your group". Plans that are too small say "Not enough for … variants."
- Click "Choose …" on the plan you want.
- Shopify shows you the confirmation page for the subscription. After you confirm, you're back in the app and the plan is marked "Active".
The free plan needs no subscription. It applies as long as no paid subscription is active in the group.
Free trial and billing
Paid plans start with a free trial. Billing runs through Shopify, every 30 days. The app itself never sees payment details.
Early warning and the limit
- From 80% of the limit, the Overview page shows "You're close to your plan's limit". You can dismiss it. It comes back when the limit changes, for example after you switch plans.
- If the group is over the limit, the Overview page shows "More variants than your plan includes" and names the plan that fits.
- Nothing stops quietly over the limit. Real-time sync that is already on keeps running, and so do matching and syncs. You just can't turn real-time sync on again until you're on a plan that fits.
